GROUND;
We are quite aware of the alarming situation regarding the
frustration among our youth which has oriented a wave of violence
not only in our educational institutions but also our society
as a whole due to which the use of firearms and are very common,
On the other side the environmental disaster and increasing
pollution un Pakistan especially in the wilderness have compelled
the authorities to reduce the number of mountaineers and trekkers
for these badly effected areas. For betterment of situation
and to utilize the energy of youth in productive manners some
courageous, enthusiastic and zealous among youth gathered
and formed the Adventure Society of Pakistan.
ORGANIZATION;
After approval of the constitution, Executive Council has
been elected for one year.
The founders of the ASP are trained, experienced and few of
them are also professional in various fields of adventure;
The membership of ASP is quit open regardless of age, cast,
colors or creed.
AIMS AND OBJECTS;
The aims and object of the ASP are as under;
To introduce and promote healthy and distinctive among youth
through adventure sports and tourism; organize hiking, trekking,
mountaineering, and other adventure activities. To planning
and in the remedial measures for better environment in the
wilderness and leadership adventure, to keep close liaison
with other clubs, societies and agencies involve in such activities;
ACTIVITIES;
For the achievement of above aims and object the ASP will
promote following activates, Arrange hiking trips nearby areas
of Islamabad, Arrange trekking trips to differing beautiful
valleys of Pakistan like as Kaghan, Swat, Chitral, Azad Kashmir
and Northern Areas hunza Skardu. Arrange ice climbing, rock
climbing expedition,
Create public awareness regarding pollution and environment
problems through different activities.
TRAINING;
The ASP offers training in the fields of leadership adventure,
trekking rock and ice climbing etc.
FUTURE
PLAN;
Trekking tropes to K2 Base Camps, K7 Base Camps, Nanga Parbat
fairy medow trek and also on other trek. Initially expedition
on comparatively smaller peak up to the height of 6500- Meters
i.e. Rupal Peak, Gondogoro peak, Jilli pur Peak etc.
Green and Clean expedition will also be launched. We expect
a good response from our youth in this behalf as it is an
open offer for them. We know they have much talent to meet
the challenges with great courage. We assure you that the
ASP will offer challenges, attractive expedition of your taste
from time to time. Your participation in the actives of the
ASP will certainly provide you memorable events, full of life
and joy so it is the right time to join us by taking the membership
of ASP at the earliest.
